GIRL'S RESIDENCY

The Bonnie Adams Lawson Dormitory provides a safe, modern living and study space for girls in grades 7-12. Renovated in 2013 with funding raised by her family, this dorm honors Bonnie Lawson, a 1950s resident of Red Bird and key figure in her family.

To reside in the dormitory, rising 7th-grade students must have an older sibling living in the dormitory and enrolled in a high school grade.

BOY'S RESIDENCY

The Johnnie "JL" Turner Dormitory offers safe housing and study space for boys in grades 7-12. This dorm is named after State Senator Johnnie L. Turner—a 1960s resident who credits his dorm experience for his public service success.

To reside in the dormitory, rising 7th-grade students must have an older sibling living in the dormitory and enrolled in a high school grade.

TESTIMONIALS

"I can never thank my Dorm Mama's enough for all they did for me during my time at Red Bird and even after I graduated.  I know I always have someone to call when I need help, that will be there for me.  They are my family in the United States."

Dorm Alumnus, Red Bird Christian School Class of 2024

"When we accept our dormitory students, over the years, they truly become my children.  I love seeing them return home.  It's such a blessing to be able to live and work with my dorm children.  I know I am doing God's work caring for our international and national dorm students as a Dorm Parent at Red Bird.

Gail Brock, Dean of Dormitory Program, Red Bird Christian School
